“ Very cute little cafe with delicious coffee and food. They have outdoor seating, window seating and a few tables. I sat at a table and was still able to look outside it was very pretty. The barista/server today on 11/14 was very friendly and my latte tasted delicious. I also had the caprese panini which was a little different from what I’m used to (in a good way). They use very high quality bread and it was perfectly toasted. ”

“ We checked out the Ground Up Cafe & Coffee shop last week in South Philly. This a great little coffee shop on East Passyunk. The decor was simple and fun with just a hint of an European vibe. Bistro seating was available inside and outside. It was very comfortable overall. The menu offered many choices from prepared sandwiches to baked goods. I wasn’t planning on eating, but then I saw scones - I had to try one. Cranberry - and it was delicious! The coffee was also very good (definitely made note of that for the next time I am in the neighborhood). The barista was also very pleasant. “ I stumbled upon Ground Up on my way home from another coffee shop. Right away I was drawn to the cafe with it's simple, comfortable interior and local products (they serve Elixr Coffee!). The tables and chairs inside remind me a bit of the cafes in Paris with their outdoor/indoor decor. However, the seats are quite comfortable and there's ample seating within the store, enough for small groups to hang out. The owner went to culinary school and every Saturday serves a new breakfast special. Her cooking is amazing, she creates these delectable sandwiches with peppers and onions that just dissolve with how soft they are. ”
